Completed in 2025 after a meticulous renovation, Skala is an exceptionally spacious coastal home, offering scale, comfort and effortless group living just moments from the heart of Salcombe.

The interiors are calm and beautifully finished, blending Scandi simplicity with a coastal feel, and completed to a high specification throughout with all the modern amenities required for a comfortable stay.

Arranged over three generous floors, Skala sleeps eight across four bedrooms and offers a rare sense of space. At its heart is a super-spacious living and dining area, ideal for gathering together, complemented by an additional snug for quieter moments or children’s downtime.

Outside, a large dining and lounging terrace makes the most of the estuary setting, complete with an outdoor kitchen and gas BBQ, and an optional hot tub overlooking the water — a wonderful setting for long summer evenings and relaxed days.

Skala enjoys an elevated position with estuary views and is just a five-minute walk into Salcombe harbour, giving easy access to shops, restaurants, ferry links and coastal paths. Off-street parking is included, making arrivals and departures refreshingly easy.

  • During peak weeks we require a 7 night minimum stay.

  • During low and mid season Sunrising  will accept short stays and can be more flexible with arrival days so please do enquire and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

  • Main Entrance Hallway: Accessed from Allenhayes Road, this welcoming hallway sets the tone for the rest of the house.

  • Beach Wet Room;; A practical space for Salcombe days, complete with shower, hanging space for wetsuits, and room for all your beach gear.

  • Inner Hallway & Guest Cloakroom:  Conveniently located for guest use, with stylish finishes throughout.

  • Bedroom 1 :  King Bedroom -  Spacious and flexible, this room shares a bathroom with Bedroom 2.

  • Bedroom 2:  King bedroom - Another generously sized room, ideal for children or guests, sharing a bathroom with Bedroom 1.

  • Bathroom;  Shared between Bedrooms 1 and 2, this family-friendly bathroom features a bath and large double shower.

  • Cinema Room / Snug; A cosy hideaway with deep tones and soft ambient lighting—perfect for relaxing film nights.

  • Utility Room: With washing machine, tumble dryer, sink, and plenty of space for laundry essentials.

FIRST FLOOR 

  • Open-Plan Living Space ; A stunning, light-filled area with large windows framing estuary views and French doors opening onto a generous roof terrace - the sociable hub of the home.

    • Bespoke Treyone Kitchen: Fully equipped with everything the chefs of the group could need. A large island with bar stools offers a sociable spot for morning coffee. This open-plan kitchen flows into a relaxed dining and sitting area overlooking Salcombe Estuary.

    • Dining Area: A large extendable table comfortably seats up to 12, positioned to enjoy estuary views. 

    • Lounge Area: A cosy corner with comfortable sofas and armchairs, seating everyone with ease.  Includes a smart TV for laid-back evenings.

SECOND FLOOR 

  • Landing Area:  A spacious landing with two inviting reading nooks—perfect for a quiet moment with a book.

  • Master Suite – (Bedroom 3 ):   Super King -
    A striking bedroom with vaulted ceilings, estuary views, and a dedicated suite including a dressing area, built-in wardrobes, and a seating nook with accent chairs. The ensuite features a large walk-in double shower.

  • Bedroom 4: Twin -  A bright and cheerful twin room with Velux windows and lovely estuary views. Ideal for children or adults alike, with a private shower room and magical night-time sky views.
